What kind of factory would you compare a cell to?

I have to say what kind of a factory you could compare to a cell, and list the factory part of each cell. Like what part he nucleus would be of the factory. :) Please help thank you.

    A factory that manufactures a large object from many parts and then transports them in packages. Maybe a necklace factory. Compare the beads to the amino acids, and the necklace to the protein. Then all the organelles have specific jobs in the process. [who]

    Woah, I had this as homework too. Freaky…
    Anyway, the nucleus is in charge. It gives out orders, like the manager/boss. Ribosomes are the machines because they make protein. Endoplasmic reticulums package and send the materials, so its like the delivery truck outside of the factory. The lysosomes are trashcans because they take in the trash and get rid of them. The cell membrane/wall is the wall and structure of the factory of course, and mitochondrion are the power houses/batteries/source of power. I hope that helped! [who]
