This is included in an ad for a used car. 12 month / 12,000 miles factory bumper to bumper warranty. What is covered under this type of warranty?

read it reaLLY CLOSE what you see isnt always what you get the factory says one thing but it will mean something else.as they always say get it in writing what is covered is not the brakes, not theoil, not the rotors, not the shocks, any wearable part is never covered.because it is a useable part.the engine trans and rearend will be covered only if you have all the records of what and when you have it done.good luck and dont think about an outside coverage either there even worse.good luck [who]

What they want you to think is that everything between the two bumpers are covered but that is not the case. My guess would be it still has 12/months/12,000 miles left on the original manufactures warranty. I would look up that manufactures warranty on the car. Make sure to include the year as manufactures warranties change especially over the past few years. This will tell you what all is covered under this warranty. [who]

Bumper to bumper covers factory defects. Anything created or wear and tare will not be covered. It will cover almost everything, except things like tires, broken trim exc. Your service adviser will be able to determine this. [who]
