How to restore a Dell inspiron 1545 laptop to its factory sitting?
Hi All,
I have a Dell inspiron 1545 laptop , i want to restore it to its factory sitting but wont work, here how i do it.
1-press and hold F8 it takes me to Vista Advanced Boot Options Window.
2-Select the Repair Your Computer Option but instead of it take me to System Recovery Options ,it takes me to the windows password page where u get access to the windows .
i need help on this please post me ur suggestions…

Start the computer.
As the computer starts, press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.
Press the (Down Arrow) to select Repair Your Computer on the Advanced Boot Options menu, and then press Enter.
Specify the language settings that you want, and then click Next.
Log in as a user who has administrative credentials, and then click OK.
Click Dell Factory Image Restore.
In the Dell Factory Image Restore window, click Next.
Click to select the check box for Yes, reformat hard drive and restore system software to factory condition.
Click Next. The computer is restored to the default factory configuration.
When the restore operation is completed, click Finish to restart the computer. Tony
1.Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.
3.On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you’d like to restore to, as shown in Figure 2, and then click Next.
4.On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
5.Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
6.The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you’ll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK. Ricky
