how can I buy a car from the factory instead of buying from a dealer?

I don’t think you can do that unless you work for the factory. In fact, come to think about it, most factories that allow sales, only allow the sale of 2nds or end cuts of stuff. They never sell what they ship to the stores.
I can just envision a car factory selling 2nds. Great deal on 2007 Tahoe, missing transmission and headlights. Or the 2007 Tahoe that is pink metalflake paint (the guys on the line were jacking around one friday afternoon). maamu

Impossible. You need to have a license to retail a vehicle. Factory’s do not have one. Are you trying to get out of the destination charge? Do you know how much more money it would cost to travel to the factory to pick it up then going to the dealership? Gas, hotel stay, time, etc….. Also did you know that they build half of the Tahoe’s in Mexico and half in Wisconsin? By the way, excellent choice of vehicle, one of the nicest vehicles made in it’s class. typhon1991
