How does one restore their iPod to factory settings?
SimsPlayer asked:
ITunes informed me that my iPod was corrupted and told me I needed to restore it to factory settings in order to add my new music. Sounds easy enough, but it started restoring 11 hours ago and the status hasn’t changed. I just updated my iTunes version, what do I do now?

All computers that I plug my MP3 player into only recognize 2 albums when there are about 100 albums on the player. How do I simply delete ALL albums from the MP3 thus restoring factory setting?
I checked the MP3 says the albums are there and the computer says they’re not.

whenever i plug my ipod into the computer, it says i have to reset it to its factory settings. my ipod also wont automatically upload anymore songs, i have to drag and drop. is there something wrong with it?

Just wondering how long does this take, because I reset my ipod touch 2g to its factory settings and its still not done yet, its benn about two hours.
