In the postwar years, Japanese factory workers protested poor working conditions by deliberately producing too much. This made factory owners pay for otherwise unnecessary storage space. What’s more, they couldn’t sell all the surplus without lowering the price and thereby losing profit. What was this called? Where are the (English language) references to it?

Specifically then, would I be correct in stating,
Land would be needed for the location of the factory, (as well as any for raw materials, such as aluminium which would have to be used in the production of the cell phone.) Thanks!
