I have no onstar and I do have a factory amp and preuium amp
i bought one from a local store and they sold me the wrong one it plugs up to the factory wireharness but can i find the amp turn on wire on the factory wire harness and run a wire from the amp turn on wire to the new wire harness amp turn on wire

I want to play music using an external mp3 player in my car, however my CD player is factory standard with no auxillary inputs. Is there any gadget or device that can do it?

I mean, the factory version of CD player does not play anything that is not original. I cant play my favorite ripped music on the player. Whats the best way to crack this things apart from changing the head unit itself. Thats a good idea and its my last option. I would have to spend at least 200 dollars for a good head unit.

The amp and subwoofers I have were in my other car but I am just looking to move them into a different car. The first time I had them professionally installed with an after market radio. I have everything I need to install, but I think there is something I need to connect the amp to the factory radio, a filter or something. If anyone knows let me know what it is that I need.

I am wanting to install a 2000 watt amplifier and a 12 inch sub for the trunk of my 2005 Monte Carlo. There is already an amplifier mounted to the top of the trunk that is powering my 6×9 speakers. It came that way from the factory. Can I somehow use those wires to hook up my new equipment? It seems to me that I shouldn’t have to remove my factory radio, if it is already wired to an amp in the trunk.

im installing a monoblock amp on a factory head unit for a 95 grand cherokee laredo.

where should I splice the LOC? tap into rear speakers (don’t know how) or splice from the head unit?

I have 4 speakers, and subwoffer, a two channel amp, and a 4 channel amp. I want to use the two channel to power thesub and the four to power the speakers. Can i hook these up to my factory head unit.

I have a fiat stilo 04 reg and it has a factory fitted tape cassette NO cd player. It has a double din fascia so in order to get a cd player fitted it would spoil the look of the car.
