My brother accidently reset the computer to the factory setting without making recovery disks first. Is there any way to recover the data? It is an hp labtop.

    Do Not Write Anything Else On The Hard Drive And Try The Program Below. This Helped Me In The Same Situation. John G

    Yes and no some times it can be if you don’t write any thing else on the disk and use a specially made program to find it or have someone like a Geek Squad Rep do it. anonymous
